Pancir studio

About

Pancir Studio is an independent workshop dedicated to the handmade production of historically inspired clothing and mail armour components, with a focus on the late 14th and early 15th centuries.

The workshop is run by Marin Novoselac and grew out of many years of practical involvement in historical reenactment, as well as experience gained through working with textiles, mail and historical construction techniques.

Radionica spaja istraživanje i zanat. Povijesni izvori poput muzejskih predmeta, nadgrobnih spomenika, rukopisa, ikonografija i stručne literature usmjeravaju oblikovanje, dok ručna izrada osigurava funkcionalnost, trajnost i uporabljivost izvan izložbenog konteksta.

Each item is handmade individually and made to order, with attention given to fit, proportions, details and historical context.

Based in Zagreb, Croatia, the workshop collaborates with clients both in Croatia and abroad.
